Peter Choi

Bio

Peter Choi is an ordained minister of word and sacrament in the Reformed Church in America. He is grateful to join such a storied community with over a century of commitment to neighborly care and vibrant spirituality in Noe Valley. Peter has served churches in Michigan, Indiana, and California. He teaches history and theology courses at the Center for Faith and Justice, the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, and San Francisco Theological Seminary.

Peter lives with his family in the Mission District and loves exploring the city’s long history of cultural innovation and social justice. He enjoys coffee, tennis, fumbling through fantasy basketball and football with his sons, and walking and discovering new parts of San Francisco.

He is a graduate of Pomona College (B.A. in English literature), Calvin Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and the University of Notre Dame (Ph.D. in American religious history).
